Opportunity description

We are part of the national Citizens Advice network, and are looking for an inspirational trustee to join our board to shape and implement future strategy. 

The role

Citizens Advice Braintree, Halstead & Witham is an independent charity and leading organisation in the district providing free, confidential, impartial and independent advice. Through our two branches we help people face to face, over the phone and online. We use evidence of our clients’ problems to campaign for improvements in laws and services that affect everyone.

We are part of the national Citizens Advice network, and are looking for an inspirational trustee to join our board to shape and implement future strategy. 

Duties will include:

  • Shape strategy and give direction to Braintree, Halstead and Witham Citizens Advice
  • Ensure compliance with the law and membership requirements
  • Support financial management

Person description

We are open to applications from all backgrounds however experience within strategic management, fundraising and income generation are highly desired.

We are looking for trustees to introduce a more complete mix of skills and diversity across the board as a whole. Your experience and skills will support the board to drive and delivery our strategic ambitions.
